Default Bajoo Leaf problem

I got this Var. Bajoo about a month ago. When it arrived one leaf was broken but that was ok..after a few days outside the next one broke right in the middle. I thought maybe the wind..Then my first roller was coming up and I was excited to see the new leaf and as it unrolls I see its also broken right in the middle!! Is this a genetic defect..Need fertilizer to toughen it up some..bugs? Really want the next roller to be pristine..any ideas?

Default Re: Bajoo Leaf problem

Protect from any wind.
Your new plant is very very vulnerable to wind and your plant is not pushing up the strong leaves yet.
Awesome coloration on those leaves......
Cut back on water to stiffin up the stems and make them less pliable...
