U.K. Bananas where to buy
 

Right I'm after finding out where to buy different sorts of bananas
All they sell in shops are cavendish bananas or lady fingers they are getting boring
Is there anywhere I can buy in stores or online different bananas in the uk or Europe(online market places)

You won't find anything other than Cavendish in the UK. I heard there was a banana producer in Cornwall, what they grow I have no idea and they would only be sold locally.

But in all honesty ......unless your ready to pour some money in your quest...
Start small.....and go from there..

I am in zone 5/6 with picture perfect conditions to fruit a plant but the cost for a subpar fruit is not worth the cost to produce it. I just do not do it here..

If you did find the plant that you wanted to grow and produce fruit that you can eat would cost you a lot of money...just not worth the cost...
And....

I would be courteous if you thanked people whom responded to your posts .....just to know that you have seen them and understand them and you still want to engage in helpful posts that can help you in your QUEST.

I'm in a 9B climate and get 300+ days of sunshine/yr, and only have a couple of types I can grow (that produce edible fruit). I'd love to see what you can grow in the UK.:lurk:
