my praying hand started to open..so far all looks well..any idea on maturity??6-8 months??one of my Orinoco pups decided to put out a flower..strange, its mom has not put one out first..i say pup but it is 6 feet..mom is 8 1/2 and no flower from her yet..pics are in my gallery

My first Praying Hands bunch is at 5 months and the fruit aren't even filled out yet. I think I've read 8 months for Saba, and since it's a Saba type, it wouldn't surprise me if it took that long.

bloom has hands and has stopped putting out more. We are going to need some serious protection here in zone 9, will not let this get away.
