Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
Okay - I HAD to try one on Saturday. It was very good! It's so interesting to try the different flavors! I am letting the other ones sit for awhile more. But it's sooooo hard to wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man! Bananas require so much patience. :exercise: :chefnaner: :07: |
Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
And I thought I was bad! At least I waited until Sunday! LOL

Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
I had to eat all of mine! Okay - I let my mom taste one. :)
The tops were starting to split, which means that the Super ant colony that rules our house would have totally devored them. They were VERY good! (The bananas, not the ants. Although I've had many an ant show up in my morning coffee) :2788: Now... how are those Raja's coming along? :) |
Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
Mmmm-Mmm ! Ladyfinger bananas are great !
Can't wait to try the Rajapuris .:2791: |
Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
Everyone I give these Ladyfinger to taste loves them.. they have a real amazing sweet fruity flavor.
The RajaPuri are still hanging on the plant and need to plumpen up. |
Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
I ate the last of mine this morning and they were very good. It seemed odd that the peel stuck to the flesh on the inside of the curved side near the stem, but not really elsewhere. Is there a reason for this that is not clear?

Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
Jarred, They are great!
I did eat one too early, now being more patient! They are much better when fully ripe! Margie:waving: |
Re: Ladyfinger fruit - who wants some?
Harvey, I also noticed that some of them get a firm spot at the tip.. not all but some, and maybe it goes away after another day had it been given more time to ripen.
Thanks for the feedback Margie! |
