Default frozen peach tree

Hi my four year peach tree appears to have died,it looks like it would in February with buds about to open but is frozen in time. the wood is still green but the branches are dry and dead,it seems as it has just started to die in the last couple of months. there is no sign of pest or disease any thoughts on this?

Get out your pruning equipment. Pick a branch and follow it to the tip where it stopped growing last fall. Cut off a few inches and verify whether the cambium layer is dead (dried out) or alive (yellowish green). If dead, continue cutting up the branch to the trunk if necessary. Repeat on all branches. If only the trunk remains, start at the highest point and work your way down, and I sincerely hope you find a live layer before reaching the graft. If not, remove the tree entirely.

More than likely, you will find life in the tree and have only lost a harvest for the year. A hard pruning rarely hurts a peach tree, they are vigorous plants. Check that your pruning was balanced in terms of the shape of the tree and make a few extra cuts if necessary.

Here's a detail drawing showing the cambium:
