I picked up this poor dishevelled looking plant about 2 weeks ago from a plant store for $2 Canadian. I thought I would give it a new lease on life and see if I can save it it looks to be doing okay but I want to know if it's healthy and if at all possible what kind of banana could be I hope it is edible as I am not into growing ones you can't really eat.

View my uploaded pictures to see the plant. Sorry, no pic's. If you have trouble loading pic's they may be too large. I think they need to be 2MB or smaller.
