Wild species to id
 
hi you all,just coming back from the Philippines Islands ihave some bananas to id.First that one growing in the Jungle of Palawan:







A lovely bird is very interested in this flower







the base of the leaves is very asymmetrical...

It looks to be a form of M. textilis to me, there are many as it is a widely cultivated plant.

this one is not cultivated, I found it in the jungle...

It is a natural hybrid M.balbisiana x M.textilis (abaca).

Greetings Ivan! Thanks for a photo! I heard that on Philippines grows much Musa balbisiana and as there are versions Musa acuminata.
