Yes, it has been great. Its the first flower I have gotten. I have been growing these for four years now. I hope I can identify it. I think they are orinoco, but I hope they are ice cream.

Congrats on the flower keep the pics coming, I never tire of the pics of nanners flowering, I can only Dream as I'm stuck in Zone 5a and we have an actual growing season of a couple of months, but Alas I digress, Great to see another flower. Thanks

Lots of purple, goes over the fold of the petal, looks like Orinoco rather than Ice Cream.

I don't think your plant has enough of a pink tinge to the pseudostem and petioles to be 'Ice Cream'. The 'Orinoco' has more of a yellow tinge.

I completely agree. I was afraid it was orinoco this whole time because it grew so well here. It even had a green leaf on it when we brought it out from under the house after the winter.

I would like to try ice cream here, people say they are more cold tolerant than other plants.
