It does look an awful lot like Monkey Fingers, e.g., see the photo on the Going Bananas website, which shows a similar number of hands. The fingers seem plumper than in the photos I've seen of this variety, but maybe it's just a very happy plant. Nick, any chance you'll get to taste any of these are report back? Whatever it is, it looks like an awesome plant.

Unfortunately, I won't get to know much about it. My former supervisor and I don't see or talk to each other too often. I can only imagine that the bunch would be over 100 lbs.
