Hi! We inherited beautiful banana plants with our home. Can anyone help us identify them?

- They are very tall (15-20 ft?) and green and yellow (no red)
- They produce pretty good bunches of bananas (50+ on a bunch)
- The bananas are yellow, plump and short they have corners/angles and are really really sweet. They have a small spine of seeds (big enough not to eat but very small compared to pulp)
- We live in Los Angeles

Is this enough information? Any help would be really appreciated!

I am by far no expert, but looks like Orinoco to me. What throws me off is your description of the seeds. I am not a fan of Orinoco bananas, but if I do eat them, the seeds do not bother me.

I believe crazy banana is right on this, cause they look just like the bunch I harvested 3 weeks ago and that's what they were Orinoco's
and overall I thought they were ok but very very sweet and mushy.

Thanks guys! Seems like as good a guess as any. They are really sweet and it depends when we eat them but they can be mushy if they're very ripe. Lucky we like them I guess because we get a lot!
