Default Unknown Quick Fruiting Louisiana Banana

I saw this thread on another forum, and I wondered if anyone here could identify the banana from the photographs posted:

The banana bunch ripened

I do not know the poster, and I do not post on that forum, so I have no additional information.

The author of the post says that the plant was just planted this spring, which means the plant fruited very quickly.

The only banana that I have grown that has the ability to go from a 3 gallon pot to ripe fruit in one growing season in Veinte Cohol, which this plant clearly is not.

Thank you for any ideas,

Glen

Thank you for the quick identification! That looks like a match to me. I guess I will have to track down one of these in the spring.

Thanks again,
