Texas back roads id Basjoo?
Traveling as i do on the the back roads i stumbled on this banana growing in a clients yard, they have no clue as it was their when they bought the home. Trying to id it for the home owner i am guessing that it is a Musa Basjoo, What do you guys think?
I am not 100% reason is that it is not seeded, fruiting height is 7 ft, client said taste is a little tart but good. any thoughts from the experts. I might have to go get me a pup, lol! happy travels all, Darla

Look like Basjoo to me, but I thought they weren't that good?
I thought they were more ornamental?
