So what exactly are they?
 
Finally, the Rojitos are in at the market! Here is a picture of the hand I bought yesterday, perhaps this is identifiable? I hope so....

They look like the normal ʻRedʻ (Jamaican Red, Cuban Red, Red Dacca...lots of names) bananas to me.

I don't know the name but I do know that I like the colour of it :D!
here you can only buy yellow nana's.

If I feel good about taking my camera to market, I'll get y'all a picture of the banana sellers. There are 4 or 5 distinct varieties of sweet bananas, and two distinct plantain types, for offer every weekend there. It's literally truckloads of nanners.

they seem to look like Jamaican Reds or Cuban Reds.
