Pot O' Bananas...
Probably a little young and sickly to tell, but I though that I would ask anyway...
Found this sitting in the back of a local nursery, asked the owner about it and he said he'd sell it for $5.00 because they were "Mostly dead, and probably not hardy for East Tennessee..." So, any guesses??? I would be happy to take more pictures if necessary... Thanks, Michael

Looks like mama died off and left the ring of pups. I'd say it's a dwarf type based on the wider pstems at the base. Grow them out to 4 or 5 healthy leaves each and divide and repot. You got 6 or 7 pups for 5 bucks. Good deal.

I think they are very hardy because they look like a musa basjoo to me (hardy banana). If they are musa basjoo they should survive in East Tennessee.
