![]() ![]() The fruit stands are selling these big fat plantains. When ripe they have an orange juicy flesh. These are my favorites raw. Better than all other bananas I have tried. I want the plants and need an Id. The ones in the grocery store are much smaller and dry. These are big fat and tasty. Help is very much appreciated. Need the specific variety name. |

![]() There's no real way to ID them from just the fruit, you're best bet is to be inquisitive and try to follow them back to the farm they are coming from, and then ask the grower for some plants, or at least find out where they got their plants.
