They say you can tell by the flowers and other characteristics like the leaf petioles, and maybe by some having wax ,or no wax; leaf vein color, p-stem.
I don't know. All the flowers thus far look the same to me.
I'am still a newby and my banana education has'nt gotten that far YET!

Its about 12' to 15' tall.
It suckers alot.
