Default Not Basjoo?

Hello! So I bought my very first Banana off of a vendor on Amazon. It is supposed to be Musa Basjoo but it just developed this red coloration and so I have my doubts...

I thought I would get the input of some more experienced folks. What are your thoughts, what do you think I actually have here? Is it Zebrina?

Smile Re: Not Basjoo?

In the photo is a small Basjoo leaf about the same size as your plant in question, can see that there is a slight difference?

Your plant does not exhibit the look of a young Zebrina either
Looks more like a Cavendish type plant but still too small to tell you what kind.
You will need to bring it in for the winter because that one is not hardy outdoors.
Good luck with that little feller.

I have a Zabrina and yours does not look the same. Mine thas a lot of dark red stripes all along the leaves and underside of the leaves is solid red. It is a small plant and the leaves are floppy. I posted pic of the plant with the only text of "Zabrina". I don't think it is in my gallery. If you can't find it I will try to send another. I have a hard time posting pics so send me you email address will send you a Pic or you can call me at 405-818-6736.
