Nice banana plant, too bad I don't know what it is.....
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG] It was sold to me over a year ago as "California Gold" by Green Earth Publishing. I like it a lot, but I just don't know what it is for sure yet.

Nice looking plant! There are many threads about identifying banana plants. Read through them. Many plants are really to hard to pin down when small. The really good way is to identify your plant when it flowers. So when it does flower, take lots of pictures. Daily pictures are best. Then the experts can walk you through the ID process.

Yes, hopefully I'll see a flower this summer. The other banana I got on this order was supposed to be Williams, but turned out to be Dwarf Cavendish.

Re: Nice banana plant, too bad I don't know what it is.....
Are you going to plant in the ground, or leave in pots? If you are leaving in pots I would definitely pot up in size. If you are going to plant into the ground, your plants would reward you with faster growth. Good luck!
