With Keith and Gabe on the case, I am sure the mystery will be solved before the first peel turns yellow.
More seriously now, it's really cool to see and read how you two go through your process. Eliminating this, eliminating that. Both of you guys know what you are talking about and if the two of you are posting, we should pay attention.
I know this isn't my thread, but thank you anyway!

You have such an amazing collection of bananas.

The Verdin you are growing is a stellar cultivar. I harvested a huge bunch yesterday and eating some as I type.

Hi Keith!....

Once again thank you for "chime in!".....

Thanks for your comments, suggestions and advices....hopefully, next time I'll go to PR, I'll visit you and your majestic farm to see your amazing collection!....I can't wait to see my Verdin Banana flowering, blooming!...

Mr. Gabe15 is referring to a series of pictures that I took the same date on November 11, 2015....As he noted, the dried bracts and male flowers were removed by hand from the rachis.....

Keith, there are more pictures of The Mystery Nanner on "My Albums" (pictures/folder - Mystery Nanner) if that helps, they are "open" (My Albums) for public view.....

Thanks Mark for your "kindly" words, my friend!.....

Hopefully, it will get resolved (ID Of Mystery Nanner). As you said, we should pay attention (comments, advices, suggestions) to the more experienced members of the forum....

Well, after looking and thinking and looking some more, I'm a little stumped at the moment, but if I had to wager one guess, it would be FHIA-02.

I'm not super confident on that, but keep posting photos as it develops, don't remove the bud, and maybe it will be easier to tell later on.

Thanks Mr. Gabe15 for your help and comments!

I will continuing posting photos as it develops, for sure. I will due a research (comparison) between my Mystery Nanner and the FHIA-2 "Mona Lisa"....Also, I got the second generation of my Mystery Nanner ready for flowering stage!....She is bigger (taller) and fatter (pseudostem) in diameter than the first one!....I will post pictures of the second generation of my Mystery Nanner soon!...

Also, in the second generation of my Mystery Nanner I will follow your advice.....I will not remove the bud, the dried bracts and male flowers from the rachis....I will leave it intact, just in case it makes easier to ID.....

I really expected that you did the research and thought it was the Mona Lisa from the very beginning.
