![]() Harvested some Ice Creams that are just about ready. Removed one Tall Namwah fruit, and it looks like it is also close to ready. The picture shows the difference in shape and color between the two. When they are less developed, the bluish in the IC is even more obvious. Namwah left, Ice cream right.

![]() I bought 2 a few years ago; however, they ended up being namwas. I bought another in April and got the same thing. I tried to explain to the seller the its not a real blue jave and returned a very hostile response on how they have been selling for over 30 years and that I was wrong ( ._.) may I ask were you got your real blue java?

![]() It's one of the easier to find varieties here in Hawaii. Can find them at Home Depot and many nurseries.

![]() The first 3 are Ice Cream, the other Namwah. The Ice Cream is a lean plant with more yellowish of a tint and less pink than the Namwah. The Namwah (not dwarf) is much taller, thicker than the Ice Cream with much more pink. Bunches are also 2-3X what I usually get with Ice Cream.
![]() A different plant than the first ![]() Not particularly thick or pink ![]() Namwah has a bit of pink on the underside of the cigar leaf ![]() and much more pink, though not every one is so pink ![]() very thick and even the keikis are pinkish ![]() And big bunches on the namwah ![]() |

![]() It's interesting, because my plant that is confirmed as an Ice Cream has a very TINY bit of pink on it (on the leaf margins and midribs when they first emerge) but absolutely none on emerging leaves or the rest of the plant. Definitely not the same thing as my Namwah.
