Re: Mysore?
They don't look like my Mysore or Manzano.

Re: Mysore?
Nick, if you did the harvesting, then it should be dead easy to tell if they are Mysore -- the undersides of the leaves should be light purple and the midrib should be purple. I think the purple undersides are supposed to be most evident on the leaves of young plants. See below.

Re: Mysore?
I never paid much attention to the leaves, but perhaps next time I'll look. One of the most interesting characteristics of the bunches is that it will form 1-2 additional hands further down the bunch. It will switch back to female flowers after producing male flowers. SO what you usually see is like 10 hands and then a gap and then 1 or 2 more hands.

Re: Mysore?
Nick, looking at my own Mysore subgroup plants, what I should really say is that the undersides of newly emerged leaves are purple. As leaves age, they lose the purple. So you'd need to look at a plant in the mat that is growing new leaves, not the leaves of the old plant you are cutting the bunch off.

Re: Mysore?
Cool. I love the sense you get of being in a jungle from the photo.
