Monkey Fingers, 1000 fingers, or neither?

Well my true to purchased type rate seems to be around 50%.

Anyone familiar with 1000 Fingers and/or Monkey Fingers? Bought this as a TC from Aloha Tropicals 13 months ago. When the first fingers were revealed and were long as skinny I thought I must have a true Monkey Fingers. The plant looked similar to other photos with black splotches and wrap around bases of petioles.

However, those first few hands of skinny "fruit" don't seem to be developing into fruit, and they look just like the first few hands of 1000 Fingers that I've seen. The next several hands have stubby little fruit developing that look more like 1000 Fingers too. I can't imagine all these hands that have emerged turning into how Monkey Fingers are supposed to look. The other thing I read is that the first fruiting p-stem on 1000 fingers in Hawaii tends to happen at around 6' tall, and mine is on the short side, maybe 7'.

Thoughts on what variety this really is? It's pupping like crazy, so I'm removing and planning to sell them, but of course want to be correct in what I'm selling.

skinny fingers, then stubby ones

LONG peduncle!

Well here it is 7 weeks after the inflorescence emerged. Still guessing it is 1000 fingers, not Monkey Fingers. Anyone ever grow either and care to give their input?

I've grown both, it is '1000 Fingers'.
