Manzano?

I have a Manzano banana that is fruiting and the fruit has a light burgundy color to it. Is that normal? It's about 13FT tall. I will post pictures up soon.

Yes it happens on the new fruit. The color will fade away as they mature and get more sunlight.

Does that happen on all fruit? Because my Misi Luki fruit was solid green from the start.

It's happened on my Mysore (Pisang Klotek), Tall Brazilian, Dwarf Brazillian, Manzano. Maybe others I can't remember.

This Tall Brazillian bunch was very purple when it first opened about a month ago. You can just make out a little color left now. In a few weeks it will be all green.

On mine, I noticed some streaks of burgandy on the peduncle and the base of a few of the fingers. In the photo below, it is visible on the uppermost hand. Check out the base of the fingers on that hand.

It feels naked without the bud so it's blushing. :D
