![]() OK, so......... I of course bought an "Ice Cream". That's what it was labeled as anyway.
From what Iv read its probably a Pisang Awak. Is that name right, or some other name with an N? Either way, I got it in December, a couple feet tall, definitely some cold tolerance to it. It took a couple frost, and only got damaged leaves, the p-stem made it just fine. I really want to know for sure what it is. I read on a thread somewhere on here that one has pink(ish) leaf ribs maybe? Mine has pink ribs so........ That would make Pisang Awak(?), yes? I hope not......... Thank you to anyone who can help....... Id post pics, but it just looks like a banana.

![]() I thin I have an ice cream banana and it has powdery undersides on the bottom of the leaves and the leaves are a ligher green than most bananas. Heres a pic of mine.
![]() Im about 90% its an ice cream banana since it looks exactly like the ice cream banana plants I have seen in pics! Good luck!

![]() My ice cream has a little pink on the midribs, but no pink on the leaf margins. It's supposed to be the real ice cream...And the lighter green of the leaves could be due to environmental conditions.
This is mine:
