![]() Here is a a plant that I got from my friend Ben. He doesn't know what type it is.
This plant grows about 5 -6 feet tall before the flower comes out. It puts up lots of sword pups. Never any water pups. Below are some photos of the plant and the flowers and starting of the fingers. What kind of banana plant is this one? I have about 6 pups in pots and I would like to know what it is before giving them out. |

![]() I have some good ideas but to be sure, post another photo in a few weeks once it develops a bit more as it's still a bit young to give a solid ID. Leave on the male bud the make it easier for us to see all relevant traits.

![]() It's either Dwarf Brazilian or Raja Puri, they are almost the same and often very difficult to tell apart unless growing side by side. If I had to choose though Id lean towards Dwarf Brazilian as Raja Puri tends to be rather more squat in general stature.
