Hey!
I work at an apartment complex and this lil guy was abandoned when the tenant moved out. So I adopted him and was wondering what kind of nanner tree I got here and what do I need to know about this guy to keep him alive and well. Thanks for any and all help!! href=http://www.bananas.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=56301&ppuser=18907> {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252 {\fonttbl\f0\fswiss\fcharset0 Helvetica;} {\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;\red0\green0\blue0;\red255\g reen255\blue255;} \deftab720 \itap1\trowd \taflags0 \trgaph108\trleft-108 \trbrdrt\brdrnil \trbrdrl\brdrnil \trbrdrt\brdrnil \trbrdrr\brdrnil \clvertalc \clshdrawnil \clwWidth12000\clftsWidth3 \clmart10 \clmarl10 \clmarb10 \clmarr10 \clbrdrt\brdrnil \clbrdrl\brdrnil \clbrdrb\brdrnil \clbrdrr\brdrnil \clpadl0 \clpadr0 \gaph\cellx8640 \pard\intbl\itap1\pardeftab720\qc\partightenfactor0 \f0\fs22 \cf2 \cb3 \expnd0\expndtw0\kerning0 \outl0\strokewidth0 \strokec2 {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252 {\fonttbl\f0\fswiss\fcharset0 Helvetica;} {\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;\red0\green0\blue0;\red255\g reen255\blue255;} \deftab720 \itap1\trowd \taflags0 \trgaph108\trleft-108 \trbrdrt\brdrnil \trbrdrl\brdrnil \trbrdrt\brdrnil \trbrdrr\brdrnil \clvertalc \clshdrawnil \clwWidth12000\clftsWidth3 \clmart10 \clmarl10 \clmarb10 \clmarr10 \clbrdrt\brdrnil \clbrdrl\brdrnil \clbrdrb\brdrnil \clbrdrr\brdrnil \clpadl0 \clpadr0 \gaph\cellx8640 \pard\intbl\itap1\pardeftab720\qc\partightenfactor0 \f0\fs22 \cf2 \cb3 \expnd0\expndtw0\kerning0 \outl0\strokewidth0 \strokec2 |

To me looks alot like a Raja Puri being all green.. Leaves are smaller probably due to the pot (not as wide).. Anyway that's my guess from what I can see.. Could be a Gran Nain too.. I didn't a good look at the Petioles.. :^)

Yeah, the pseudo-stem would be more red if it was a Cavendish... That said, I don't know what it is...

Yeah, there is no red on the stem, unless it was grown in shade, would explain the lack of red marks on the leaves. But does kinda look like a Raja Puri in color lol.

It's kinda big for that pot now. Time to put it into the ground.
Where are you located? |

Thanks for all the imput! I am in Southern California. I can not put it in the ground because I live in an apartment. I have the plant on my balcony that gets plenty of sun.
