Question ID the sudden variegated banana?





Found when mowing today, 1 psuedostem is not variegated, another is slightly variegated and the last is very variegated. The not variegated psuedostem has red on it but no idea what this one is.

No, and that's the problem, I had an Aeae that died during the 13 F freeze, a Florida, and maybe a variegated namwa but those variegated yellow from what I remember. All three of those in the photo appear to be one cultivar if that helps.

Pretty sure, it was planted around the corner and 10ft away from this. Plus the variegated one does not really look like my Aeae did.

I agree. It looks like Variegated Namwa or Dwarf Namwa. That would also explain why some pups are Variegated and some aren’t.
