It could also be a short form of 'Dwarf Cavendish', or especially dwarfed because of growing conditions. The reason being maybe not 'Super Dwarf Cavendish' (SDC) is because SDC usually has a much tighter packed bunch and smaller fruit, usually they also have horizontal fruit bunches instead of pendant as in the photo.
