Re: Ice Cream fake ???
This musa has powdery pink p-stems when located in full sun and exposed to cool temperatures. The plants have green p-stems when located in a shady, warm area, I think this one is a slow grower, but pups readily.

Re: Ice Cream fake ???
Brad, there's no way to tell what it is at that size. It could be one of a couple hundred or more cultivars. You won't be able to tell what it is until it has produced fruit, and maybe not even then.

Re: Ice Cream fake ???
I have two fake Ice Creams. And I have no idea as to what they are. I looked at some pics of banana plants and the closest thing I can compare it to is Rose. I doubt that's what it is though. I know that there are some people on the Org that have real ones though.
