I.D. needed pls
 

Uploaded some pics of my 2010 first flowering banana. Sorry they are somewhat close up, but can someone ID this one for me?
The fruit : small, very sweet, lot of flavour

I've been told that most bananas here in cyprus are (dwarf) cavendish, is this one ? :2738:

Dwarf Cavendish seems very likely from what can be seen in the photos, but I'm no expert. The light colored inner face of the bracts, which roll up, the whitish female flowers, and the open petioles, combined with the fact that you know DC is the common banana where you live, point to DC. Gabe could give you a more definite answer.

Yes, it looks like 'Dwarf Cavendish' to me too.

good luck, we are waiting for our first also but it may be next spring before that happens. Post some pics.
