Default Home Depot Mystery - Super Dwarf Cav?

Hi All,

New member here. Home Depot near Seattle was selling these “Musa Hybrid Banana” with no regular tag. Have tried to search the product code from the pot and looked on the website and can’t find any references to it (their website doesn’t even say they have any of any variety in stock locally).

It is very small (about 1-1.5 feet). The main plant has about 6 pups coming directly off the base. One of the more established leaves has some red in it.

Do you think it is a Super Dwarf Cav or something else?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Matt

Not sure what that is but the HD here in Charleston has a few dwarf cavendish (at least what they're labeled) that are about 6 ft tall!! They want something like $100 for them. They even had pups as you would imagine. I'm tempted as it's taller than anything I have!!

Looks close.....however the plant is very stressed....
They usually do not sell SDC.
Usually a dwarf cav.....when plants are stressed they pull back........
That is why it was on sale

Cold Re: Home Depot Mystery - Super Dwarf Cav?

Thank you all - will see how it goes and hopefully I can de-stress it. Can only imagine the journey it had to get to a Home Depot near Seattle!
