These are from my dad's patch in Miami. After he passed away the patch went wild but my step-mom let me take all the pups I could gather. I tried to plant the types together. This is the first type, but it has been much bigger:

first pic in front looks a lot like my dwarf cavendish...just going by red wine stain on leaves..can any body tell me if i am right or wrong??thanks

The dog's very cute Chatoyant so no harm done
![]() The first patch definitely looks to be Super Dwarf Cavendish. Like 2woodensticks says, the wine stains are an indication that they're in the cavendish family, and their short, stocky height and close leaf spacing suggest they are that variety. Has it ever flowered for you yet? The second one I'm not so sure about, maybe an Orinoco but the stem looks very slender so maybe something else like a Basjoo. Someone else might be better able to identify it ![]()
