Default Help me ID my banana plant...

Help me ID my banana plant... purchased from Home Depot...

Will the bananas ripen on the plant or cut and hang?

Can you eat this kind of banana without cooking?

This last picture is an older one, the plant is almost 3 times as large now.

Thanks

Can a Dwarf Cavendish grow to 14 - 15 feet high? It's twice as big now as was shown in th last picture.

Generally banana plants are measured by pseudostem height, not by height of the highest leaf.
