Default Help Identifying?

Not sure what type of banana this is (we planted it as a lark because our 3 year-old twins love bananas). It was planted as a 5' plant in Dec. 2019 and not the leaves are close to the top of our eaves on a 2 story house (over 15-18'). It produced a flower on 8/26 and is now at this point today (7 days later).

I'm assuming it's just a cavendish (?) because it was sold as a banana and I don't recall any other information on the card at the nursery.

Thanks,
Jim

The fingers look similar to plantains. However, someone with more experience might be able to tell. Have you browsed the USDA TARS catalog?
