Many plants have the same coloration when young. There is a good chance your plant is a Cavendish variety. All plants mentioned require tropical conditions and will grow best in full sunlight once acclimated. So you may leave them out in the summer and bring them indoors in the fall. If this one does not work out you may try some great reddish/purple ornamentals like Musa Siam Ruby, Zebrina or Sumatrana. |
