I was wondering if someone can identify this banana plant. I think its some type of dwarf, but I dont know which one. Thanks

Is this the one you're talking about?



It looks like one of the dwarf types. It could be 'Dwarf Cavendish', 'Novak' (aka 'Super Dwarf Cavendish'), or possibly even 'Little Prince', though I think one of the first two are more likely.

Yes that's the one. I thought that it was 'Little Prince' I hope it produces fruit, but if it doesnt its still a beautiful plant. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it

Check the wiki for more reference pics. I would guess super dwarf cavendish since mine looks much like that in regard to the tight leaf pattern. I was just given a smaller(regular) DC and the leaves aren't as tightly grouped.
