Default Goldfinger or? ID HELP.

OK so I've started getting into Brain Overload. I've been reading the Kepler and Rust book I finally got and the Bananas you can grow book.
Info Overload.

Richard Got me thinking, You guys all get me thinking, so I am trying to learn the ID process.
I got these from a former Member. He told me these were goldfingers. Now I am wondering. So I am putting it out there to see what you guys think.
Unfortunately I never took photos of the flowers, not did I leave the inflorescence on so I will give you what I have.
Next time it blooms I will take photos of the flowers and leave the male on and let it hang.

This is one mat, next to the house, the tallest they get so far is about 8' if that.

I read the moniker "American Gold Finger" on here somewhere.
Seems to be the best we have for a name. And one that I'm inclined to stick with.
I like it.
Its not a true to type Gold Finger. If its a sport/mutation of the true GF, who knows.
But in it's own right it is a very good banana; good yield, taste, cold tolerance.

As far as I can tell, with internet chitter chat, and talking around; This is another Agristarts screw up/nefarious business practices.....
Because even when they are apparently sent TRUE REAL DEAL GF to TC, you get this banana back in return....

What are you gonna do?

Yeah,my thoughts in my head were "Musa: your guess is as good as mine"...
But that's what I was thinking, a mutation. Still a delicious banana in our house.
