As we all know buying from Ebay is so risky when it comes to seeds on so many levels. Thanks for the info ![]()

i grew them from seeds.
![]() the seeds look like the ones i have sown. i got them from James, i think he got them from india. I don't know if the result is 100% true to type Griersonii but sure not look like other seedling i have. "So I think, griersonii, are they." ![]() ![]() ![]() You are right, seeds from ebay can be surprising and the freshness of the seeds is a very relative consideration...

Now James??? I wish I knew you had them...I would not have purchased them on Ebay. I purchased them from 2 different people to make sure I had a mix and enough of them to get me started. Great start there H2O how long did germination take?

Yes i got them from James [jmoore]!
Time to time he sells some musa / palm seeds. Germinating seemed fast !? (bought 21st july 2012 if i am right and picture of the 9th of august) It usually take 2/3 weeks after 4 to 5 days soaking, but some seeds can take longer. (velutina, even with fresh seeds takes longer) i wish you luck with your seeds Jc
