![]() I was looking at seeds for Ensete glaucum and found some on Tradewinds, but their photo look unlike any Ensete glaucum I've seen elsewhere as they have red midribs. What are these if not Ensete glaucum?

![]() I just got some from Germany. go to amazon. picked up 40 or 50 seeds for less than 20 dollars. snow bananas are fun to watch grow from seed.

![]() Thank you! I looked it up and that sure is what the photo is. So I wonder which species you would get? I suppose it wouldn't take long for the red to show if it was Ventricosum. I did write to them to point out the mis-identification and to ask which species the seeds really are from. I'm sure they don't know!

![]() This last batch of glaucum seeds was purchased from a vendor that had ventricosum instead of glaucum pictured. All the seeds germinated quickly. And were definitely glaucums.
