Can someone tell me what kind of bananas I have?

My boyfriend brought a potted banana plant home from the office. I split into two and hope they make it. Banana plants are new to me. Can someone tell me what kind I have? They are in my album. Thanks!

Looks like orinoco to me.

Do have any history on the plant? Was it your boyfriend's or another worker's contribution to the office? If the latter, did they bring it from their own yard or purchase it? It very possibly is an Orinoco but perhaps not. I have a few mysteries here which have no history I can ascertain so I'll have to wait for a flower to find out what I have; you might be able to do some sleuthing and get some answers.

Thanks so much for the replies! I'll do some research on the orinoco. The history I have on the plant is that it sat in a hallway at the office for years where my boyfriend works. The owner of the company decided to get rid of the plant because of its size. One of the men has been caring for it in recent years but moved out of state and couldn't take the plant. So now I have it. I can have my boyfriend see if he can find out where it originally came when he returns to work after the holiday.

Normally at this stage they are too small to properly ID, but often you can rule out certain possibilities. It's a little hard to see from the photos, but they don't appear to be Orinoco at all to me, there is some dark coloration on the pseudostem and on the petiole edges, they also appear to not have much wax, Orinoco is usually mostly green and very waxy giving the petioles an almost hazy blue appearance.

As mentioned earlier, you'll likely have to wait for it to fruit to get a real ID on it, but we might be able to narrow down the possibilities further with more photos. Could you get a close-up photo of the "crown", the area where the leaves come together at the top of the pseudostem ("trunk")?
