Can any one ID
New here and to Bananas in general. I was given these for free as cut trunks...I have no idea other than they are growing bananas now and they are edibl I believe. I know I may not be able to find out exactly what they are but a general idea would be cool. I can get more pics if need be...thanks!

Re: Can any one ID
They look a lot like my Goldfinger. Plant, flower, leaves, and short. I have no clue though. Hopefully an expert will pop in and help you. Congrats.

Re: Can any one ID
Thanks for your incite. These are short now but I saw them before he cut them down. They were in a overgrown part of some land of his so protected from the winters here(mild) and I want to say they seemed pretty tall...id guess 10-12' or better. He did have different kinds all grown together tho it seemed so I am not sure...some had big wide leaves some more narrow but both pretty tall.
