bought it as a pisang raja
looking from my porch I saw this. said to myself; self see what I see./ self said aint no way.
sold to me as a pisang raja, one of the few that survived my winter. flowering with a stem heighth of 48 inches. foot note; it was a bit taller last year

no I have cali gold this is thick stemmed with no color on the leaves when young.

now that you mention it has a real strong resemblance to my rajapuri that I have planted 200 ft. away out back. open petioles with a bit of red on the edges, thick p-stem with a bit of black on it, short fat leaves.
