Hey Rick,

look what I`ve found yesterday!

I always thought that the only variety offered by German supermarkets is 4011 - fortunately I was wrong!

But to be honest...I didn`t like them that much (sweet taste, but strange and woody flesh of fruit).

De gustibus non disputandum est....
Maybe I ate them a little more ripen.....

Anyway, I'm very happy that finally Europe is importing new and different kind of 'nanas other than Cavendish and Grand Nains.....

Had to bump this up,
we are getting banana codes now, well, its 4011 only but its something. Must be some EU regulation politics. Who knows maybe there will be even more varieties on the market soon.

I had some of these, and they were the best bananas I've ever tasted.

There are actually different varieties of Cavendish. Could be Williams instead of the normal Gran Nain. Those tend to be smaller. If they were bananitos, they would be much smaller.
