![]() I've had this plant for about 4 years maybe 5.Last year I dug it for a new bed and put in GH& dragged to placement.Its FLOWERING

If ediable? should I do anything to it right now?It got a slight lean from IKE passing by.That flower bud kind of snuck up on me and smacked me wide awake.I Had to have power to notice it...lol ![]() I loaded a picture in the gallery under banana flowers.That button below don't seem to be working. ![]() From the pics you posted it certainly seems to be an edible type. Can't say for sure which one, though. Unfortunately, with it flowering and setting fruit so late I doubt that the fruit will have time to mature before cool weather sets in. It typically takes around 4 months from the time the first fruit appears for them to ripen. I'd let them go and see what you get though. It can't hurt but 4 months from today puts you at Feb. 1st.
