Default Banana identification please

I've had this plant for a couple of years I think. Not sure if I got it at Walmart or Lowes. Hoping it's edible.

That's what I was thinking but I just wanted to be sure since I have no real experience with them. I have another type of banana in my yard that never gets very big and it fruited once with tiny 1 inch bananas. Don't know what it is either.
