Banana identification !
Hi everyone,
last winter my uncle gave me some pups of banana, but i really don't know nothing more about them...he told me he recived the first pup, years ago, from a friend that uses this type down in Africa for fruit production, but i'm not really sure about this version... My uncle told me his plants only produces small bananas (without seeds he says), in autumn season, but the fruits remain immature for climatic reason.. His plants at now are 3,5-4 meters tall and 50-55 cm in circumference... here some pics; the smallest pot contain a pup of Musa paradisiaca i've taken at Florence botanic garden this summer Thanks everyone! Re: Banana identification !
I can't tell what the smallest one is at this stage, but the rest of them look like Basjoo.
