Anybody know what these are?

A neighbor has a whole forest of them, and said she doesn't know what they are. She gave me a few pups so I'd love to know that they are. The tallest ones were easily 12 ft and the leaves were 4 ft long. She said they fruit sometimes and produce really small fruit that never fully ripen. |
