Default Any guesses here?

Hey Folks,

Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Neighbor had them in a barrel planter that rotted out. He didn't know what variety they were, but they never appeared to get taller than about 3' or so (not sure if that was b/c they were space limited).

Thanks in advance!

Probably due to poor soil, lack of soil, no care, or all previous.. Plant will not reach any potential for fruiting w/ such conditions no matter the type..
