these bananas are at a community centre nearby

I'd have to imagine whoever is taking care of that area is at least a tropical enthusiast if not an outright banana enthusiast. The fast that they are flowering suggests they are well cared for so one could probably find out who the 'caretaker' is and they would probably have a good idea of what they have there. They clearly need to be part of this forum

I meant to go back and take more pictures but didn't get around to it
I drive by it often enough... a couple weeks ago they pulled them out and then about a week later they pulled out everything in that bed not sure if they filled in my namwa bunch hadn't filled in yet so I brought it inside update on that soon..... |

It's a Pisang Awak, and appears to be a non-dwarf type.
*More likely it's a Bluggoe.*
