PR giant posted a really good answer to this question last year. Do a search. But off the top of my head the Florida has a more erect leafs, red on the petiole and different petiole canals. Also by my eye I can usually tell the difference in leaf patterns. The fruit is very different and the Florida is a much shorter plant.

I BELIEVE that Florida had flared petiols and ae ae had normal. Could have been the other way around. Not sure lol

After an hour or so of searching, this is all I could find.

Is this AeAe ?

I have the same question. I've been growing what I thought was a Manini for 5+ years now and think it may be a Florida. He mentions that the petioles are different but does not elaborate. Its hard to tell from the pictures.

This picture from that thread shows a comparison of the petioles, but which is which?

I can usually tell by the variegation. The fruit is an easy way. Ae Ae is rounded at the tips.
From those photos, I'd wager the one on the left possibly is an Ae Ae, but I'd need to see more of the leaves.
